Assistive Technology Outcomes for Postsecondary Students with Disabilities: Predictors of GPA, Retention, and Graduation

I am prepared and excited for the opportunity to disseminate the results of my Master’s thesis at the AHEAD conference. The central question of my research is, does assistive technology (AT) use predict GPA and/or graduation for college students with disabilities? As an occupational therapy graduate student and a student services provider in the Assistive Technology Resource Center (ATRC) at Colorado State University (CSU), I am uniquely knowledgeable and passionate about the role of assistive technology in supporting postsecondary students with disabilities in their academic endeavors.
