Charlene Corder brings a tremendous amount of experience and expertise in the area of disability counseling and services. Charlene has her Master’s Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling and has worked in vocational rehabilitation for several years in varying capacities as a Rehabilitation Counselor, Deaf & Hard of Hearing counselor, Transition Specialist, and Liaison with University and Community Colleges. Charlene presently works to promote equal access for faculty, staff, and students at the CSU, Chico and is an active member of committees to ensure equal access to the university's programs and services. Charlene is one of the key speakers who provides presentations to a variety of campus programs and departments, as well as student and community organizations. Under her direction, the Academic Coaching Program recently won a NAPSA award. She trains and supervises student employees who work for the Academic Coaching Program. She seeks out opportunities to promote equal access & education
