Experienced Educator Christy Galatis has 15 years of expertise in Higher Education Disability Services practices and operational leadership. Christy’s experience includes both employment- based and student-based accommodation management, corporate ADA training, and academic coaching. In Christy's current role, she oversees the accommodation plans for 400+ students and is an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Education. Prior to joining Endicott College, Christy worked for Tufts University for over 12 years as an ADA Specialist where she worked with employees with disabilities in addition to heading their faculty and employee ADA training. Christy earned her M.Ed. from Salem State University and is a licensed Guidance Counselor as well as Health Teacher. Christy is also a certified Academic Coach and actively coaches for Beyond Book Smart, an organization which specializes in assisting students with Executive Functioning impairments.
