Cheryl Muller, M.Ed. Cheryl has worked in disability services in higher education in a variety of roles for over 25 years, beginning as a Sign Language interpreter. In 1994, she joined the staff of Disability Resources at the University of Arizona as the coordinator of document conversion. She later moved into working directly with students coordinating additional in-class academic accommodations. Her leadership responsibilities began in 2006 when she became the Manager of eight professional staff, and she currently serves as an Associate Director, overseeing direct student service areas; Access Consultants and provision of classroom reasonable accommodations, as well as outreach to faculty on course design. This depth and breadth of experience gives her a unique perspective on working in a higher education setting.
