Sean Kugler, has a Masters in Special Education from Northern Arizona University (NAU) along with two certificates in Assistive Technology (CSUN 2001 and NAU 2010). His Bachelors of Science is in Speech Communication with an emphasis in Family and Interpersonal Communications (NAU). Sean started working as an Assistive Technology Specialist (ATS) in 2000, while working as an Information Technology Specialist for Rehabilitation Services. He worked as an ATS for Flagstaff Unified School District #1 from 2005 until June 2017. In the fall of 2016, Sean became an Adjunct Instructor within the NAU College of Education for the PRAXIS program. During the summer of 2017, he fulfilled a long time dream by going to work full-time at NAU. Sean is currently the Accessibility Analyst and continues to teach part-time. This year Sean also joined the Commission on Disability Access and Design at NAU. Sean has been public speaking about disability issues and sharing his own journey as a member of the disability community for the last 15 years.
