Improving Access to STEM Education for Deaf and Hard-of-Hearing Students: Critical resources for teachers, parents, students and employers

Donna Lange has been teaching at National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID), a college of the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) in Rochester, New York for over 30 years. She is an associate professor and former chair of the Applied Computer Technology Department (now known as the ICS Department) and has taught a variety of computer-related courses in the areas of both hardware and Web development. Donna is currently the Principal Investigator and Director for DeafTEC: Technological Education Center for Deaf and Hard of Hearing Students, a National Science Foundation Advanced Technological Education National Center of Excellence (DUE #s 1104229 & 1501756). Donna regularly presents at local and national conferences on DeafTEC's resources related to best practices for teaching deaf and hard-of-hearing students and on the outcomes of various DeafTEC projects.
