Anne-Marie McLaughlin is Director of Emergency Management and Continuity at NYU. She specializes in inclusive emergency preparedness and is a member of the International Association of Emergency Managers Access and Inclusion Caucus. She has presented on inclusive preparedness at the Association for Higher Education and Disability (AHEAD) National Conference, 2012. In 2016, she was one of three speakers on a national Department of Ed Access and Functional Needs webinar. In 2017, she presented at FEMA Region I inclusive emergency management interagency meeting on inclusive active threat response. She designed and conducted a custom inclusive civilian active threat response training and drill for the Institute for Community Inclusion at UMass Boston focusing on the needs of people with disabilities. In 2019, she presented as part of DOE REMS/TA national Twitter Chat: “Ask an Expert” on inclusive preparedness for schools.
