Increasing Access to Study Abroad for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students

For ten years, Ashley Holben has served the National Clearinghouse on Disability and Exchange, a project sponsored by the U.S. Department of State and implemented by Mobility International USA, to promote the participation and inclusion of people with disabilities in the broad range of international exchange opportunities between the United States and other countries. In this role, she has worked extensively with members of the Deaf and hard of hearing community from the U.S. and countries around the world as colleagues, interviewees, clients, co-presenters, co-authors, international exchange alumni, and more in order to contribute greater Deaf representation to the landscape of international education resources.
