Increasing Engagement for Struggling Postsecondary Readers

Pamela Farron has 25 years experience in postsecondary education and disability services. She is currently the Coordinator of the Disability Resource Center at Berkshire Community College where she serves on the Academic Technology and Developmental Education Advisory Committees. She also serves on the school board for Pittsfield Publish Schools where she is a member of the Curriculum and Policy subcommittees and the chairperson for the subcommittee on Special Education. Pamela has developed award-winning programs and curricula, presented nationally on topics ranging from Meeting The Needs Of At-Risk Students, Improving Outcomes For Students In Developmental Reading Classes, to The Transition To Higher Education For Students With Disabilities. Pamela has an undergraduate degree in teaching and a graduate degree in educational psychology.
