Tari Hartman Squire’s EIN SOF Communications is a disability strategic marketing and employment consultation firm specializing in disability-inclusive diversity and public policy. She helped spearhead SAG Committee of Performers with Disabilities; launched Media Access Office as liaison between entertainment and disability community (created disability casting clearinghouse, talent showcases, media advocacy, technical assistance/script consultation); created Lights! Camera! Access! 2.0 with Loreen Arbus to: 1) increase media employment; 2) improve portrayals and, 3) enhance accessible media with captions and audio descriptions. Founding team of DisBeat (ADA Legacy Project’s PR initiative); co-authored 2017 Ruderman TV Challenge in collaboration with LCA2.0 and Making News: How to Get Coverage for Disability Rights Issues (NIDRR-grant); advised AP Stylebook on disability-savvy language; consults on TV, film, commercials and works with ADAPT; AT&T, BBDO; CBS, Caucus for Producers, Writers & Directors; Colgate-Palmolive; Droga5; Fox Searchlight; Honey Maid; Kessler Foundation; Kimberly-Clark; Prudential; Raytheon; Sundance Channel; United Spinal; and World Institute on Disability on a five-year grant from DOL/Office of Disability Employment Policy to increase employment of PwDs from historically-excluded communities, and on Conference Accessibility Initiative with JPMorgan Chase. She is fluent in American Sign Language, earned her MSW from USC, and BA from CSUN.
