TIA IVANKO, M.S., NIC, is a Technical Assistance Specialist at the National Deaf Center on Postsecondary Outcomes at the University of Texas-Austin. She has provided extensive technical assistance and resources to professionals who work with deaf and hard of hearing students in various postsecondary settings for several years. She has a range professional experience and expertise include teaching, interpreting, evaluating and implementing accommodations, coordinating and supervising access services. She is adept with the ADA Law and its implications in educational and employment settings. She has provided training at local, regional, and national levels. She holds a Master’s degree in Deaf Education from Western Maryland College and is a nationally certified interpreter.
