Math Accessibility: A Hands-On Tour

Kaela Parks is a long-time member of AHEAD who has taught graduate and undergraduate courses, and has offered presentations, webinars, and pre-conference sessions on topics including accessible maps, 3-d printing, math accessibility, service learning, faculty development, and universal design. She is former co-chair of the AHEAD Standing Committee on Technology and was a co-editor for the NASPA publication Beyond the Americans with Disabilities Act: Inclusive Policy and Practice for Higher Education, as well as national chair of the Disability Concerns Knowledge Community within NASPA. She also served as an expert reviewer for the Council for Advancing Standards, Disability Resources and Services, has contributed to the AHEAD Information Services Portal, and was a winner of the recent Evidence Based Practices Exemplars competition.
