Meeting the Student Veteran with Disabilities Where They Are: A Collaborative Campus Resource Presentation

I have a B.S. in Rehabilitation and Disability Studies and an M.Ed. in Rehabilitation Counseling from Springfield College, Springfield Massachusetts. I am a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor; with over 20 years’ experience with people with disabilities. I specialize in working with military affiliated populations with service-connected acquired disabilities. I have worked rehabilitation and disability services in diverse settings: state and federal vocational rehabilitation programs; K-12 education in a school for the Deaf; post-secondary education instruction in the baccalaureate and community college settings; post-secondary education disability counseling providing accommodation, disability and vocational counseling to students; and in equine therapeutic programs.
