Author: Nicolas Crisosto

I currently work as an Accessibility Specialist at a California Community College and as an Education and Technology consultant. As an Accessibility Specialist, I review technology and Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates and recommend Equally Effective Alternate Access Plans as part of our institutions Information and Communication Technology compliance review process. I have been working in education and accessibility since 2003. In addition to working with institutions of higher education, I work with private companies and non-profit organizations to provide training and implement solutions to accessibility challenges. I regularly provide training for faculty members, including faculty members in the process of obtaining certification to teach online courses. I also provide training to staff on a variety of topics including web accessibility, creating accessible Word and other document formats, and creating accessible PDF documents and forms.
