Alexander is the Director of Transition Services at Beacon College. There, he developed the Transition Center which focuses on programming to help students with unique learning differences and their parents find post-secondary success. Through the Transition Center, Alexander oversees Navigator PREP, the country's first virtual pre-enrollment transition program for incoming students and parents. Through Beacon College and a collaboration with the Sharjah Center for Learning Difficulties, Alexander led a two-week program in the UAE that included classroom sessions, professional training, and parent workshops. Alexander has presented nationally on topics including the executive functioning skills behind college accommodations, non-academic skills and college readiness, as well as family systems theory. Prior to Beacon , Alexander was the Director of Transition Services at a private boarding school for students with ASD. He has a B.A. in History and a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling.
