Preparing High School Students (and Their Parents) for College BEFORE College

Tony Taylor has worked in the field of post-secondary disability service provision for 25 years. He has a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Arizona in 1991. Over the years, he has given hundreds of presentations to faculty and staff at the college and high school levels, as well as to numerous agencies such as Vocational Rehabilitation. He developed a "High School Student/Parent Night" workshop, held at his campus. From there, he has developed a more intensive workshop for high school students and their parents. He is involved with the college's spring event planning for outside agencies and schools to better acquaint them with Pima Community College's programs, expectations, and processes. He regularly travels to area high schools to meet with students, parents, and staff.
