I have experience presenting at the 2017 AHEAD conference. I have also been a presenter at numerous local, state, and professional interpreter organizations focusing on how interpreting impacts the learning process. I have been working as a sign language interpreter in higher education for 12 years. One of my professional goals has been to work closely with the tutoring center and Deaf students to foster a successful learning environment. I served on the Minnesota Registry Interpreters for the Deaf from 2014-2016 and I am a current member of the Minnesota State Student Success Council.
