Providing Notetakers: Lessons Learned the Hardway

Paul Harwell is as an Access Coordinator for Disability Services at Texas A&M University. He manages a caseload of about 400 students with disabilities, coordinates the departmental assessment plan, supervises the peer notetaking services, and serves as an AT specialist. He has eleven years of experience working in Disability Services and has presented on a number of topics at regional and national AHEAD conferences. Paul holds both bachelors and masters degrees in Psychology from SFASU, and is working toward a PHD at Texas A&M University. He recently served a three-year term as President for AHEAD in Texas.
