Providing Time: The Most Important Factor in Providing Accommodations

Over the last 30+ years Diana Kautzky has shared her expertise in the field of accessibility and equality as it pertains to Deaf persons, particularly in the field of postsecondary education. Being born to Deaf parents she has been a lifelong member of the Deaf Community and had a unique vantage point as a hearing person in a Deaf world. She has worked in state government, higher education, private sector, and served as an advocate for equal access throughout her career. She has been presenting for over 30 years on a wide variety of topics including cultural awareness, equal communication accessibility and appropriate accommodations.
