So Close and Yet So Far 2.0: Best Practices in Providing DSS Services on Multiple and Satellite Campuses

Adam Kasarda has served for the last four years as the System-wide Director for Disability Student Services at Alliant International University in California. In addition, he serves as the San Diego Campus Director of Student and Campus services. Alliant has six campuses in California as well as three international campuses (Mexico, Hong Kong, and Tokyo) and has a student population of around 4500 which consists primarily of graduate students in the fields of Psychology, Business and Education. Adam earned his M.S. in Counseling Psychology and an M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and is currently pursuing his PhD. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology. Adam frequently presents to Alliant Faculty, Students, and Staff on disability related issues. He also presents to graduating seniors at local high schools regarding the transition from high school to college in terms of disability services. Adam is a member of, and on the leadership team for the Southern California Disability Consortium where he often presents information on a variety of disability related topics.
