Gabriella Tempestoso has been working as a practitioner in the field of student disability and access services for 8 years at private liberal arts colleges throughout California. Ms. Tempestoso’s recent work has focused on the student transition process from high school to college, with specific emphasis on self-advocacy, resilience and independence. The current presentation topic is one that Ms. Tempestoso and Ms. Graves have been collaborating on for some time to develop a substance abuse program specifically tailored to individuals with learning disabilities.
