Jennifer Rowe, Social Sciences and Community Engagement Librarian at the University of North Texas (UNT) is subject librarian to the Rehabilitation and Health Services, Behavior Analysis, Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, and several other departments. She works with students of all abilities, but since the three aforementioned departments tend to appeal to students with disabilities, she regularly provides reference and research assistance to students with disabilities. Rowe also serves as her libraries’ Public Services division liaison to the university’s Office of Disability Access. She has become interested in what students with disabilities perceive as the challenges of using a university library and what university and college libraries are doing to address diversity of abilities. Rowe regularly provides library instruction sessions for classes and has presented on various topics at the regional and state level.
