Deborah Kamm Larew, Ed.D. is the Director of the Office for Students with Disabilities at Valencia College. Deborah holds a Doctorate of Educational Leadership from the University of North Florida and Master’s in Educational Leadership and Exceptional Education from the University of Central Florida. Currently she serves the FL AHEAD as the past president. Deborah has Disability Services leadership experience at Flagler College, a private liberal arts college, and at the University of Central Florida, a Level One Research University, and currently at Valencia College. With over 25 years in the field of Disability Services, Deborah’s research focuses on the Social Justice model of Disability with an emphasis in leadership in the Deaf community. She has taught Exceptional Education in the public schools and taught college courses such as Leadership Development, American Sign Language, and pre-service Education courses.
